Welcome to Button Up Boutique
We are sure to be your destination for the latest women’s designer clothing and fashion accessories, as well as prom and special occasion wear. With two locations– in The Fountains in Roseville and the Palladio at Broadstone in Folsom– we are quickly accessible from anywhere in Sacramento.
’Tis the season to be fashionable! With so many patterns and styles trending this year, we’re here to make sure you look gorgeous at all your holiday parties.
This winter, kimonos are all the rage. Wear a colorful kimono as a jacket over a soft t-shirt or let it stand alone as a dress; kimonos are a very flattering and stylish must-have to add to your wardrobe. Try on a versatile kimono by Spell & the Gypsy Collective at all three of our locations or one by Show Me Your Mumu in Roseville. These eye-catching garbs will surely make you the life of the party.
Looking for something a little more casual? Dark floral prints paired with fit-you-perfectly Hudson jeans and a great set of boots will turn heads wherever you go. Rails flannels are another great choice for a casual, yet stylish ensemble plus they’re great for all ages! Fashion tip: try wearing an oversized flannel as a jacket for a more feminine look. Enjoy the best of both worlds and get creative by adding floral patches to your flannel to keep it interesting (in other words, don’t be afraid to mix patterns and embroideries). Finish off your perfect outfit with a great pair of ankle booties fresh off the runway.
Get cozy and stay warm with this trend: sweat suits. Or, dress up a pair of joggers with a silk top and chunky heels. We know it sounds too good to be true but it is! Accessorize it with customized sweats that have a pin stripe or leather panels to be comfortable and fashionable.
And finally, the must-have items going into 2015 are graphic tees! These relaxed fit shirts have cute and distinctive sayings on them and they go with pretty much anything. We’ve got tons of styles to choose from including WILDFOX, good hYOUman, and Casual Friday.
One last essential note for the holiday season: boot cut denim is always in style. Stop by any of our three locations and ask one of our in-house stylists how you can be a trendsetter in the New Year!
Christmas is just around the corner and these are some things we’re sure your friends and family wouldn’t mind finding under their Christmas trees this year (just in case Santa was wondering)…
Jewelry! Always a good choice; bracelets, necklaces, and rings are great tokens of appreciation for your loved ones. Try a signature ring by Uno De 50 or a House of Harlow necklace at our Fountains at Roseville location or a stand-out necklace by French Kande at Runway Boutique and at our Folsom location. Tassels are trending in a big way so make sure to incorporate that style into your gift picks.
Quality, budget-friendly sweaters are great gifts for those who want to stay warm and fashionable this winter. We’ve got lots of great styles and blends in stock, including Michael Stars cashmere blend sweaters that have been flying off of the shelves!
People are loving graphic tees by good hYOUman, Casual Friday, and WILDFOX. These super comfortable tees add a touch of humor and a ton of personality, appeal to all ages, and are easy to accessorize. Want to dress it up? Pair your graphic tee with a straight lapel blazer and a nice pair of dark denim AG jeans.
If you’re still unsure about what to get your fashionable friends, an infinity scarf will make for the perfect stocking stuffer. Not only do they make any outfit pop, they come in a plethora of colors, patterns, and fabrics. We’re sure you’ll find one for everyone on your list at Button Up Boutique and Runway.
And remember, there is no shame in emotional shopping!
Twice a year, the Button Up team takes a trip to Las Vegas for ENK International, an exclusive global fashion trade show. We most recently attended in August. During the show, we visit with several of the world’s top fashion brands and shop for what to carry in our stores the next season. This year, we saw a return to 90s trends, a focus on more comfortable materials, and bold patterns.Read More»

We want everyone who visits us to feel good when they walk out our doors – and what feels better than giving back? Some of the designer brands that you will find in our stores are also socially conscious. They do what they can to limit waste, give back to communities -both local and global- and work to provide our customers with high-quality products. Here are just a few of these selfless companies:Read More»
On June 11th we hosted our first Instameet at Button Up at the Fountains. What’s an Instameet? It’s an Instagram meet-up, where people come together to connect, take photos and celebrate creativity. We love Instagram (check out our Instagram feed here) and wanted to meet some other local Instagramers. We invited all of our Facebook fans and some of our friends on Twitter, and asked them to come by to mingle, enter an Instagram photo contest, and enjoy wine and a discount during the event.Read More»

The parties are over and all the trophies have found their owners. But while awards season may be over, prom season is just heating up.
Hollywood’s most glamorous night serves as the pinnacle of red carpet fashion and inspires several trends among the rest of us. From the Academy Awards’ parade of gowns, we can guess what will be popular at your school’s prom.
Nude + Embellishments
Many leading ladies, including Best Actress in a Leading Role winner Cate Blanchett, opted for a nude hue decorated with shining beads and jewels. Add more flair to your overall look with a metallic clutch and matching heels. Keep your jewelry, makeup, and hair simple to avoid overwhelming the dress.
Valentine’s Day is coming up fast and we hope your calendars have been marked. Luckily, you have our team at Button Up Boutique to help!Read More»
